Some people told me that they changed the image file dimensions and that it worked on their radio. I would give that a try and see if that works.

@javidol1544 I believe that you can turn it off, but I am not 100% sure. I am currently on vacation, but I can play with it and try it out once I get back.

If you have the standard radio setup and not bose... you will love it. Day and night difference. I was very skeptical at first, but now I am super happy that I went with these speakers.

@MACSDIY by purchasing and physically installing the buttons on the steering wheel once I know there's a chance they can work without having to mail off a module to be reprogrammed.

That could work, but I haven't heard anybody doing that before. I guess you can give it a try and go from there and let us know.

It sounds like you may have switched some of the wires by accident. Also, what is the make and model of the vehicle?

How is it laggy, and what is it exactly doing? The only thing that I can think of is that you need to update your head unit, or you may have to return it for another, and may ha e something faulty! I would try updating it first and then going from there.

That sounds like a simple update to the head unit! Try that first.

You will have to go through the list and look fornit. If you don't find it, then you will have to contact the seller to further assist you.

That sounds like your CANBUS settings, then on your radio. Also, my email is on my RUclips page.

If you can't find it, then you will most likely have to contact the seller to see if they gave you the correct android head unit with CANBUS settings.

When I purchased the truck, the first thing I replaced was the rear camera. When I installed the android head unit, I had to buy a separate cable to make the camera work as shown in the tutorial.

I am sorry to hear that. Maybe something is wrong with your head unit, or you may have skipped a step. Other than that, I have no clue why it didn't upload for you.

Try using 1024x600 instead of 1280x720

Home Screen "APPS" > Apps Menu "TOPIC" > Topic Menu select which layout you want. I hope this helps if not let me know and I can put a quick video together.

I don't have the files for those because they already came pre-loaded in my head unit when I purchased it.

As far as I am aware, they don't because they come with their own USB ports already installed in the radio.

@@MACSDIY Still i progress but really did clear up the concern with the massive amount of wires. FYI I am using another brand but the wiring looks very similar. Is the harness for the rear camera behind the glove, the same one that is suggested to reboot the factory head unit... Tight space in that area.

I had to purchase a separate wire because, for some reason, when i hooked it up to the radio itself, it didn't want to work.

And the image that's currently being used is in sdcard/TS

I do and I am currently in the process of making 2 videos about the reverse camera. 1. Will be a review on the clarity of the camera. 2. Will be how to change the setting. This is what I found on a forum. You will have to scroll a bit down and then there will be a picture with the instructions. I don't know what Android Head unit you have, but they should come with some. If not, then I would contact the individual that you purchased it from and see what the issue is.

I'm sorry to inform you, but this specific android unit is not compatible with bose. As I was in the market to purchase one, that is one thing that I read in the description before purchasing it.

I sent a message to the seller to verify it was compatible with bose before buying and they assured me it was. Very disappointing. @@MACSDIY

If it doesn't work at all, then it has to most likely do with the CANBUS settings, and you will have to set it for your specific vehicles, year, make, and model. If this doesn't work then let me know.

I would contact the seller than to see if they sent you the correct head unit.

@@MACSDIY Unfortunately it's the weekend and can't get a hold of anyone, the problem is the swc plug has 2 wires and I can only plug one into the canbus, neither are working and yes the head unit is the correct one.

Sorry I haven't run into that issue. Maybe a hard reset on the whole unit and then try to set everything back up, i.e., CANBUS settings, etc. If that doesn't work, then I have no further suggestions or advice. I hope this helps.
